Pans Labyrinth fascists vs rebels

The way the fascists are scared of Vidal's power and anger is a representative of the fascists fear of the dictator Franco.
The rebels are working for each other and the fascists works for themselves.
Vidal in the dinner seen is shot individually and straight on  with Vidal centre of the frame while the others are all shot in groups which connotes a dictator making a speech despite the fact that this is an ordinary conversation. He sees himself as a leader.
He is disrespectful to the others members as he can because he knows he's in power.
Vidal only one with umbrella and stands out as he wants to show his power.
