  • Interested in crime genre Reflected through the danger in each of his films. Never peaceful movies. Pulp Fiction and Reservoir dogs glamorise the life of crime whilst showing the dangers of being involved. The intension is to show the lifestyle as cool and exciting but not as something for people to want to be a part of as we can see how there is very rarely a happy ending.
  • Elmore Leonard inspired style - conversations Uses dialogue to control each scene, he uses dialogue to build tension, create humour and to show us characters personalities.
  • Mix of french wave and spaghetti western Almost created his own genre of violent crime films with obscure comedy with very little realism.
  • Howard Hawkes - Tarantino's favourite story teller and entertainer in films

  1. It angers me that this is so lacking in detail and the title is spelt incorrectly. Please amend this ASAP. You cannot hope to pass your exam when you are creating yourself revision resources like this.
