Oedipial trajectory is shown in Fishtank through the way that initially Connor is presented in a fatherly way. As he later becomes a sexual partner of Mia, the Oedipal trajectory is clearly reflected. Furthermore, Mia goes against her Mother and is attracted to the Father figure which is part of the trajectory.
